About Art and Healing

Danforth Art has a long tradition of exploring the many ways art can be used as a means for expression and self-discovery. This spring, seven exhibitions on the theme of Art and Healing demonstrate how personal struggle can be key to the process of creation, and how illness can sometimes alter an artist’s techniques and means of expression. On view, work by artists Robert Ferrandini, Wilber Blair, Matt Brackett, Michael David, Jon Imber, Michael Mazur and Stuart Williams. For more information about other Art and Healing programs offered at Danforth Art, please visit the Art and Healing page.
