In connection with the Framingham Public Library’s Framingham Reads Together program, meet exhibiting artist Lita Judge, author and illustrator of Flight School, illustrations from which are on view in the Children’s Gallery. Public Tours Slow Art Day Slow Art Day is a world-wide event in which art appreciators are encouraged to slow down and study art in a more meaningful and intentional experience. Join Danforth Art staff for a facilitated slow looking session that will combine contemplative quiet looking, thoughtful interpretive discussions, and sketching. We’ll be looking at Mommy Loves Me by Sarah Meyers Brent, Self Portrait as a Woman Serving a Meal by Haley Hasler, and a selection of photographs by Steven Duede. The session will conclude with a reflection on the slow looking process. No preregistration required.  Free for Danforth Art members, or with Museum admission. 1–2pm.
