Do you love art, enjoy meeting interesting people, and want to contribute to your community? Does the opportunity to develop or enhance your skills in an enriching setting appeal to you? Then consider becoming a Danforth Volunteer! You may have visited the Museum and enjoyed the exhibits, events, School classes or family programs, and you recognize what a dynamic resource the Danforth is for the community. The Museum’s mission could not be realized without its diverse and dedicated volunteers who take part in a rewarding experience where everyone can contribute and benefit.
The Museum welcomes you to become part of this exciting environment. An art background is not required in most cases. Volunteers provide assistance with a variety of important functions, including: Administration, Gallery Monitoring, Museum and Community Events, Fund raising, Data entry, Marketing, Graphic design, Art handling/exhibition preparation, and Language translation. If you have other skills or community resources that you would like to share with the Museum, we invite you to explore how you may be of service.
