High school students and adults are responsible for their own supplies, unless otherwise stated in the course description. Ceramic tool kits are available for sale in the Museum School office. Tuition for children's classes (K - 8) include supplies.

In the case of bad weather, please watch TV channel 5 (www.wcvb.com) or channel 7 (www.whdh.com) for cancellations or delays. A message will be left on the Museum School's telephone answering system 508.620.0937 by 7 a.m. Whenever possible, classes will be rescheduled by the instructor.
Emergency information form Parents of registered students in all children's classes, including Summer Arts, must complete the emergency information form and mail or deliver the completed form with registration. This student information form is available here.
Snack or Lunches Students should bring in healthy snacks for School Vacation Workshops and Summer Classes. NO PEANUTS, please.
Clothing Please have students wear clothes that can get messy! Aprons are available for sale in the Museum School office.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedure The Danforth Museum of Art requires guardians to accompany children under age 14 to and from the classroom on the second floor. Enter the building from the Lexington St. or Pearl St. doors, or use the Pearl St. elevator (red door). Wheel throwing and photo classes enter through Pearl St. doors only. Use caution on the stairs and in the parking lot. Directions to the Museum School are available here.
Please Notify the school if parent/guardian is going to be late, or if child will not be coming to class. There is a charge for late pick-ups (508.620.0937). PLEASE NOTIFY your child's teacher if a different party is picking up your child.
Photographs will occasionally be taken during classes and programs and used for promotional purposes. Student names are not published. By enrolling yourself or your child in a Danforth Museum of Art class, you grant permission for you and/or your child to be photographed for this purpose. Adult students or Parents/Guardians must write a signed letter to the Director of Education stating limitations or refusal in order for student to not be photographed.
Most classrooms are located on the second floor of the Danforth Museum building. Enter through side doors on Pearl or Lexington Streets. Wheelchair access to the Museum School is by elevator through the red door on the Pearl Street side of the building. Please let us know if you have any mobility concerns when you register.
Give the gift of art! An art class or Museum membership is a unique gift for someone special. Please call the office at 508 620 0937 for details.
Payment The Danforth Museum School accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Students can register online or in person when the Museum School office is open, by MAIL, FAX: 508.872.5542 or PHONE: 508.620.0937.
Membership Discounts Members of the Danforth Museum of Art receive a tuition discount for all classes, in addition to other benefits. Membership is a wonderful way to support your Museum and in many cases your membership pays for itself. Individual members must be 18 years or older; children are included in family memberships. Tuition and fees are shown as (M) for members and (NM) for non-members.
Senior Discounts Senior Citizens (65 & over) receive a10% discount.

Scholarships Thanks to the generosity of TJX Foundation and other funds, a number of full and partial scholarships are available, based on need and open to all students. Call the Museum School office at 508.620.0937 for an application.
Payment Upon Registration All classes must meet minimum enrollment levels one week before start date to ensure they will run. Registration continues through the first week of classes. PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.
Class Space Reservation Due to the constraints of our registration system, we can no longer hold open any places without payment.
Class confirmations are not sent unless you register online. If you need a confirmation, call the school office or send a SASE with your registration. The Danforth Museum School reserves the right to cancel any under enrolled class, to change instructors when necessary and to reschedule individual classes as needed.
Refunds Full refunds will be made if a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Student cancellations must be received at least five business days prior to class/workshop start date and a $20 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. Due to school preparation costs, no registrations fees will be refunded after the first day of classes. Membership fees are not refundable.
The Danforth Museum School will call 911 in the event of a serious medical emergency.
Visit our Goodnight Moon Reading area which is adjacent to The Children's Gallery, dedicated to the art of children's book illustration. These are located on the second floor of the Museum building in the Museum School.
Stop by the Museum Shop in the first floor lobby and find beautiful ceramics, jewelry, and paintings, many created by local artists and Museum School faculty and staff. You will also find a selection of children's books illustrated by artists who have had exhibitions in the children's gallery. Once a year the Museum School runs a Holiday Sale featuring the art of faculty, students, and other members.
