The participatory, multimedia presentation is a compilation of personal testimonies collected during the last year from more than 40 women and girls in Framingham. Special Performance - Harmonie Transverse, Sunday, April 13, 2008, 3:30 p.m.
Harmonie Transverse was formed in 2002 with flutists who had performed with the New England Conservatory's Metropolitan Flute Orchestra. The group includes piccolo, C Flute, G Alto Flute, and Bass Flute. Harmonie Transverse is part of the Artist in Residence program at Wachusett Regional High School and is supported by TEMPO (To Encourage Musical Performance Opportunities). The group takes its name from the word Harmonie for wind band and Transverse for side blown flute.
$8 non-members, $7 students/ seniors; FREE for museum members.
