We’re excited to welcome you to our newly-renovated, light-drenched studios in our new home, the Jonathan Maynard Building on Framingham Centre Common, for a full season of classes, workshops, and special offerings in all media, for students of all ages and levels. In our supportive art community, our students find opportunities to learn from professional artist-instructors and from their fellow students. We encourage you to read our Student Information page carefully as a number of policies have changed, including our policies on class supplies, and food and beverages.
New this season! In addition to new offerings, new class formats, and, of course, our new facilities, we are delighted to announce that our winter season includes a focus on the figure and portraiture. Several classes, workshops, and drop-in open studios provide students with the opportunity to study the art of the human form. The Danforth Art Permanent Collection is strong in its holdings of figurative artwork, both realistic and abstracted. Works from the Permanent Collection will serve as reference points for study, as select works are brought directly into the studios throughout the season to inspire and inform art-making.
