ABOUT EXHIBITIONS/PROGRAMS CLASSES

Adult art classes

Registration for the Winter Session, beginning January 30, is now open! Click to download the Winter 2017 catalog.

Weekly classes support in-depth learning of fundamental skills and techniques for adults of all levels of ability and experience, and in a variety of media. Semester long classes meet once a week for four or eight consecutive weeks. Four-week classes may be taken independently or consecutively. Click on the class title in the grid below for full descriptions, including any required prerequisites. For assistance with your class selection, or to register online, you may call the School Office during phone hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am-4 pm, at 508-620-0937 or email anytime to school (at) danforthart.org.

NEW Policy RE: Class Supplies: To ease the confusion for beginning artists, all materials will now be provided for the first two meetings of all adult beginner-level classes (noted in the class description with “Some supplies included”). Students in intermediate- or advanced-level classes, or any class without the notation above, are expected to bring all supplies to their first class. More information is available on our Student Info page. Class Supply Lists (CS) are available in the chart below as downloadable PDFs.
